Meeting Minutes
Date : May 18, 2017
Place: Brewster Ladies ' Library
Present: Gary Christen, Doug Erickson, Beth Finch, Eric Levy, Patricia Tammar, George Thurber
Called to order: 6 : 05

Noelle Bramer has resigned but she talked with Harwich officials who assured her that both Punkhorn Road and
Squantum Path in Harwich arc public ways and open to walkers .
Problem areas :
1 . Crossing Slough Road
a. A crosswalk is not needed for now.
b. We need to install posts of Pathways signs.
c . We may need to get permission from utility companies to put signs on posts — who will do this ?
2 . Is there a problem with Giselle on Cranview about placing a post with a Pathways sign on her property?
Gary was going to talk with her.
3 . The path will proceed:
a. from Cranview to Westgate
b . from Westgate to the trail marked green on the map
c, then to $ quantum Path. Squantum Path becomes Punkhorn in Harwich
d. then to the bike trail
e . then to Gull' s Way,
4 . Gulls Way to Rowley, the Rowley to Feretti' s
a. Private property may intervene.
b. Does the Town ' s deed to Rowley allow access from Gull ' s Way. There is a paper access road.
Who will look into this ?
c. If Rowley is inaccessible, the path can continue on Gull' s Way to Feretti' s .
6 . Gary bought Pathways signs but we need $295 to purchase 500 white arrows . We have $90 .
a. Doug will go to a Conservation Commission meeting to request funds .
7 . Gary will give a set of maps to Chris Miller at the DNR.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, June 15 at 6 PM at the library.
