Howard Hayes opened meeting at 5 : 39pm Review and Approval of Minutes of August 29 , 2017 meeting. The Board unanimously approved the minutes . Belinda Eyestone moved and G Howard Hayes second . Review and Approval of Executive Meeting Minutes of August 29 , 2017 meeting . Belinda Eyestone moved and G Howard Hayes second . Chairman Hayes-Yes and Ms . Eyestone - Yes Report of the Deputy Assessor , Discussion of Exemptions currently being data entered before the tax bill is issued . All elderly exemptions are being processed through the Council on Aging, with the assistance of Deb Johnson and Brenda Locke . Discussion of the Leona Terrace Betterment and Road Commitment . This assessment will be divided amongst 12 properties . A motion was made by Belinda Eyestone to commit the Leona Terrace Road Commitment in the amount of $ 124 , 536 . 24 to the Treasurer/Collector. G Howard Hayes Second the motion. Ms . Eyestone -yes , Mr. Hayes -yes Recognition of the List of Water Liens in the amount of $ 31 , 357 . 61 from Sherry Theuret Administrative Supervisor Water Department . This commitment will be added to the FYI tax bills as outstanding balances . There were no topics the chair did not reasonably anticipate . BOA meeting9 - 11 - 17 Executive Session (to comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or federal grant-in aid requirements : MGL Chapter 59 § 60 and MGL Chapter 214 § IB) G.
