Jj_ X'/ RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO JOHN DAY WHEREAS, John Day (applicant) has applied for a conditional use permit to construct an office/warehouse building on Lots 1 through 9, Medina Park Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the construction of said building will not impede the normal and orderly development of the surrounding property; and WHEREAS, the Medina zoning ordinance requires the issuance of a conditional use permit for the construction of said build- ing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted John Day to construct an office/warehouse facility on the described property on Tower Drive, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The exterior building materials be the same or substantially similar to those shown on the plans submitted and reviewed by the city. 2. The lighting plan for the structure be the same, or essen- tially similar, to that shown on plans submitted and ap- proved by the city and, specifically, that the exterior lighting fixtures be of the type which do not broadcast light in a horizontal direction. 3. The signs on the property be of the size, number and type as shown on the plans submitted and approved by the city. 4. The parking and driveway areas be located and surfaced in a manner similar to that shown on the plans submitted to and approved by the city. 5. The landscape material be installed as shown on the plans submitted to and approved by the city. 6. The rooftop mechanical equipment be screened in a manner similar to that shown on the plans submitted to and approved by the city. 1 7. Individual tenants or owners within the building be subject to administrative approval by the Medina zoning administra- tor. 8. Each of the eight units is allocated the use of two parking spaces • 9. There be no exterior storage of materials or trash contain- ers on the site. 10. The buildings to be constructed on the site be no higher than one story. DATED: ATTEST: ye-e a , 1985.
