RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON-TO-PERSON TRANSFER OF
A.B.C. LICENSE NO. 1201-44-034-007 FROM EDIS LIQUORS, LLC. TO:
JASON KAPLAN
WHEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor and Council ofthe Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey by Edis Liquors, LLC for a
Person-to-Person Transfer of ABC License #1201-44-034-007 from Edis Liquors.,
present holder of same and said licensee has consented to assign their rights to said
license to aforesaid applicant, Jason Kaplan: and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duty advertised in
The Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and
no objections, either verbally or in writing, were filed Of made to the Governing
Body or to the Municipal Clerk regarding said transfer; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed aud the local authority has reviewed the
source of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business
and all additional financing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
\VHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be liceused according to all standards established by Title 33 of the
New Jersey Stahltes, promulgated thereunder, as well as pertinent local ordinances
and conditions consistent with Title 33.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the
Mayor aud Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of
New Jersey, that ABC License #1201-44-034-007, heretofore granted to Edis
. Liquors, LLC. be and the same is hereby transferred to the applicant, Jason Kaplau
to sell alcoholic beverages in conformity with the laws, statutes, rules and
regulations of the State of New Jersey and with the resolutions, ordinances, rules
and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning said license
and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the endorsement of this Person-to-Person Transfer on
behalf of the Mayor and Council ofthe Borough of Carteret; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution
be sent forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law aud Public
Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, eN 087,
Trenton, New Jersey 086250-0087.
Adopted this 29th day of November, 2007
and certified as a true copy of the original
