HomeMy Public PortalAbout1985-094Member A e °l e-m a- ri moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 3.-6911 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION FOR LEONARD SCHLOSSER WHEREAS, Leonard Schlosser (the applicant) has requested preliminary approval of a subdivision pursuant to the preliminary plat attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the preliminary plans submitted in connection therewith by the applicant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that preliminary approval for a subdi- vision be granted to the applicant, subject to the following conditions: 1. Lot 4 to contain a minimum of two acres, with a variance granted from the minimum lot requirement of five acres due to the location of a house and accessory building on the property and the lack of additional acceptable soils nearby and with variances for setback for the house and garage to feet and feet, respectively, due to the fact that they are existing structures; 2. The final plat show dedication to the city of a 40 foot easement for right-of-way purposes adjacent to County Road No. 19; 3. Outlot A to be combined with property to the north and west; 4. The final plat show dedication to the city of a 50 foot easement for right-of-way purposes adjacent to Highway No. 55; 5. The applicant pay to the city a park dedication fee in the amount determined by the assessor; 6. Approval of the subdivision by the Pioneer Creek Watershed District; 7. The applicant to submit to the city a final plat within 180 days of the date of this resolution, which plat shall in all respects conform to the preliminary plat, except that it shall incorporate the changes and modifications required herein; and 8. At the time of submission of the final plat the applicant shall submit a current certified abstract of title or registered property abstract for review by the city attor- ney.
