RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE CARTERET REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AS THE REDEVELOPMENT ENTITY TO IMPLEMENT A
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE WASHINGTON AVENUE
GREYFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT AREA
'YHEREAS, the Cmteret Redevelopment Agency ceARA") was, created and
exists [or the purpose of furthering the redevelopment goals and policies of the
Borough; and

\VHEREAS, pursuant to their respeqtive powers under the Local Redevelopment
and Housing Law, the Borough now wishes to designate CARA as the
redevelopment entity for the following designated properties to implement the
\Vashington Avenue Redevelopment Plan with respect thereto, which was adopted
by the Borough.Ordinance #06-33 on June l5. 2006 pursuant to'the full statuary
authority available to CARA set forth in the Local Redevelopment and Housing
Law.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, subject to acceptance by CARA
pursuant to resolution of such agency, that the Borough Council hereby designates
CARA as the redevelopment entity to implement the Washington Avenue
Redevelopment Plan with respect to the above designated properties, pursuant to
statutory authority set forth in the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a duly executed copy of this resolution
shall be filed in the office ofthe Borough Clerk,
