RESOLUTION NO. 8- - /UCJ
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION FOR THE
HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The Hennepin County Park Reserve District (the
applicant) has requested preliminary approval of a subdivision of
one lot lying east of Homestead Trail from park land owned and
controlled by the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the preliminary plans
submitted in connection therewith by the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina that preliminary approval for a subdivision be
granted to the applicant, subject to the following conditions:
1. That access to the lot shall be by means of a driveway in
the location indicated on the preliminary plans;
2. That a park dedication fee be paid in an amount determined
by the assessor;
3. That the applicant not request final subdivision approval
unless and until it is able to release the land from re-
strictive covenants limiting the use to which the property
may be put;
4. That the final plat, when submitted, conform in all respects
to the preliminary plat, except that it incorporate the
changes and modifications required herein; and
5. At the time of submission of a final plat, the applicant
submit a current certified abstract of title or registered
property abstract for review by the city attorney.
