MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 6, 2012
PRESENT: Thomas Pratt, Claire Wright
The meeting was called to order at 7:50 P.M.
Ms. Wright moved to approve for payment, from the commission’s operating budget, a bill
for $95 from Dave’s Septic Co. for the portable toilet provided for the May 20, 2012 Comey
Chapel reopening ceremony. Mr. Pratt seconded the motion. It was approved unanimously.
Ms. Wright presented the fee structure and draft use regulations for the Comey Chapel. She
made a motion to approve the fees and regulations as presented. Mr. Pratt seconded the
motion. It was approved unanimously. Ms. Wright said she will provide these written
instructions to the Town Clerk, and they will be kept in the office with the key.
The Commissioners discussed notifying area funeral directors of the availability of the
Comey Chapel for use. Ms. Wright said she will send photos and a copy of the regulations
to the funeral directors both in Hopkinton and in the surrounding towns. She said she will
also offer to meet with the directors of both the Chesmore and Cronin funeral homes, to
view the chapel and review its use.
It was agreed that no summer meetings would be scheduled unless there is a need.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
