A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE SOLICITATION OF VENDORS THROUGH THE INFORMAL BID
PROCESS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SOUND SYSTEM FOR BATEMAN HALL
WHEREAS, the Cit,y of Lynwood desires to purchase a sound system to repiace
the existing equipment at the Bateman Hall facility; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the sound system would be more economically
and efficiently effected through the use of the informal bid process; and

'~ WHEREAS, the City Council by a 4/5 vote can approve fundin'g through an
alternate bid procedure;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council waives the formal bid procedure for the acquisition
of an audio vendor for the sound system at the Bateman Hail facility.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 16th day of September 2003.
