RESOLUTION NO. .Y /D 8
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR
IMPROVEMENT OF WILLOW DRIVE SOUTH OF T.H. 55
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Willow Dr.
south of T.H. 55 by Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. and the contract price
for the improvement is $ �5;.�'y7.3o , and the expenses incur-
red or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to
$ .0 so that the total cost of the improvement will be

WHEREAS, the city council wishes to have evidence presented to it
regarding valuation prior to adopting the assessment roll in those
instances in which the property owner has objected to the proposed
roll.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the
city is hereby declared to be $ d and the portion of the
cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared
to be $.581649.54'
2. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city engineer, is
hereby authorized and directed to calculate the proper amount to
be specially assessed for such improvement against everay assess-
able lot, piece and parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cas valuation, as provided by law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in her office for public
inspection.
3. A Hearing shall be held on the 21st day of January, 1985 in
the city hall at p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected
by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with
refernce to such assessment.
4. The city clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the
official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and
she shall stated in the notice the total cost of to improvement.
She shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of
each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two
weeks prior to the hearing.
5. The city clerk and the city attorney are hereby directed to
prepare or cause to be prepared and presented evidence regarding
valuation at the public hearing before the city council.
