A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY
COUNCIL AUTHORIZING A FEE INCREASE
FROM $35.00/HOUR TO $45.00/HOUR FOR
ME~AD AND ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE
BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Melad and Associates has provided building plan check and building
inspection services to the City of Lynwood since 1984; and
WHEREAS, Melad and Associates has not raised buiiding inspection fees for the
duration of the consulting agreement with the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, other consulting firms providing building inspection services charge
more and/or provide lesser experience building inspectors; and
WHEREAS, building inspectors currently provided by Melad and Associates have
extensive experience and have provided excellent service; and
WHEREAS, Melad and Associates provides necessary liability insurance,
automobile liability and workman's compensation.
~ Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
Ciry Manager or his designee to execute all necessary financial activities relative to this
resolution.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
following funding: ,
Increase Building Inspection Services Fees from $35.00/hour' to
$45.00/hour for Melad and Associates.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become efFective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 7th day of October 2003.
