A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NBCE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,700.00'
FOR THE DESIGN OF LONG BEACH BLVD. WATER MAIN UPGRADE
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05-5250 FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, improvements to the water distribution system, Project No 05-
- 5250 is listed in the FY 2003-2004; and

WHEREAS, the Long Beach Blvd Water Main Upgrade Project (MLK Blvd.
~-- to Tweedy Blvd.), needs to be constructed per Water Master Plan of 1981; and
WHEREAS, NBCE, Inc. was selected to prepare the Long Beach Blvd
Water Main Upgrade Project, Project No. 05-5250, and
WHEREAS, a contract price of $24,700 00, was negotiated with NBCE,
Inc to prepare the Long Beach Blvd Water Main Upgrade Project; and
, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1. That a contract for preparation of the Long Beach Blvd Iwater
Main Upgrade Project, Project No 05-5250 be awarded to NBCE, Inc. for the negotiated
price of $24,700.00
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and NBCE, Inc
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
