RESOLUTION NO. 0 9-7 418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN
ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER,
BRIAN K. FINNIE, IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED
AND TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($110,000.00) AND
AUTHORIZING A BENEFIT PACKAGE FOR THE
INTERIM CITY MANAGER COMMENSURATE WITH
ALL OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA
WHEREAS, Jannie R. Beverly resigned as City Manager of the City of Opa-locka
(`City") on December 10, 2008; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2008, Brian K. Finnie assumed duties as the Interim City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka ("City Commission") desires
to approve a salary and benefit package for the Interim City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby approves a salary
for the Interim City Manager, Brian K. Finnie, in amount of One Hundred and Ten Thousand
Dollars ($110,000.00), as well as a benefit package commensurate with that of other Appointed
City Officials.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
