UPPER CHARLES TRAIL COMMITTEE
Wednesday, October 3, 2012 7:00 PM

MINUTES
Members Present: Mark Gates, Brian Eberlin, Bob Snyder, Mike Resteghini, Ken Parker, John
Mosher, Jane Moran
Members Absent: Jeff Barnes
The Minutes of the meeting on Sept. 19, 2012 were approved by unanimous vote.
The committee nominated, discussed, and voted an officer slate with the following outcome:
Chairman – Ken Parker
Vice Chairman – Mike Resteghini
Secretary – Bob Snyder
The vote was unanimous for all positions.
The committee discussed the site walk that took place on 9/29/12. A suggestion to add
topographical data to our existing maps was accepted by all.
Various suggestions for the location of the next site walk were put forth. The consensus was to
walk the Teresa Road area along the original rail bed.
A discussion ensued about how to inform abutters of planned site walks in the future. It was
agreed that we should have our own letterhead to send out notices of site walks. One suggestion
was to borrow and appropriately revise the Milford Trail Committee’s letterhead and associated
forms for our use.
The committee decided to discuss a process for “general outreach methods” at the next meeting.
Members agreed to investigate this subject prior to the next meeting.
Mike volunteered to seek further information regarding the Lepelley property for our next
meeting.
Mike volunteered to create a summary of our “route ideas” for our next meeting.
Mark volunteered to add coordinates to his plot map.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
