ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES FOR THE 2008 CALENDAR YEAR
WHEREAS, in Docember 2007, the Borough issued a Request for Proposals
(''RFP'') soliciting responses for the provision efvarious professional services
for the 2008 Calendar Year; and
\VHEREAS, the RFP's weTe solicited pursuant to a fair and open pIOCes::: in
accordance with the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and
\VHEREAS, the Borough Clerk's Office has on file the submitted responses
to the RFP; and

WHEREAS, the Borough bas submitted the responses submitted and is
desirous of accepting and/or approving the responses to the RFP from the
attached list of professional service entities for the respective professional
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That these professional services entities on the attached list are hereby
approved to provide the respective professional services. .
2. That this action is approved. as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40a:1l-5(1)(a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
With the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5.
