AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for general
engineering s ervices in General Services Agreement – Sewer and Channel Design (2019)
(12398) in Various Locations within the District ; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 21733 with EFK Moen, LLC for the aforesaid general
engineering s ervices.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15047, adopted November 8, 2018, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contra ct No. 21733; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above -named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and the sum of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund
for general engineering s ervices in General Services Agreement – Sewer and Channel Design
(2019) (12398) in Various Locations within the District ; said contract being comprised of such
terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
2 to Contract No. 21733 with EFK Moen, LLC, for general engineering s ervices in General
Services Agreement – Sewer and Channel Design (2019) (12398) in Various Locations within
the District .
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The fore going Ordinance was adopted on January 9, 2020.
