Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 1 _ /_?. / RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ROLF WESTGARD WHEREAS, Rolf Westgard (Applicant) has requested a condi- tional use permit for his business complex located at 640 Hamel Road; and WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit for the Applicant's business; and WHEREAS, the proposal has been reviewed by the Medina planning commission and city council; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed use is consistent with the City's zoning ordinance and will not impede the development of adjacent properties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to Rolf Westgard for his business complex at 640 Hamel Road, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicant shall construct a solid fence between buildings A and B on both the north and south sides of the storage area between the buildings in the locations shown on the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit A. 2. The Applicant shall install landscaping in the amount required under the City's performance standards and in the locations shown on the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit A or such modificated locations as may be approved by the zoning administrator. 3. The Applicant shall prepare a long range plan for improve- ment of his entire site which shall be submitted in time to allow discussion thereof by the planning commission no later than at its meeting in April, 1986. 4. This conditional use permit shall expire on December 31, 1986 unless prior thereto the Applicant has submitted said long range improvement plan and it has been approved by the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that the City shall consider proposals regarding improvements to drainage in the front of the Appli- cant's property which shall be made by city staff.
