A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF
,~ TO DIPOSE AND/OR DESTROY ITEMS
~~ VENDOR ITEMS CONFISCATED BY THE CODE
ENFORCEMENT DIVISION AND BEING
STORED IN THE EVIDENCE ROOM AT CITY
HALL NORTH. ~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood promotes protecting the
health, safety and general welfare of citizens working and residing in the City of ~
Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of .the Ciry of Lynwood promotes enforcement of
municipal laws set forth in the Lynwood Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Code Enforcement Division regularly confiscated illegat
merchandise from unauthorized vendors and stores such merchandise in the City
evidence room; and ,
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood does not want such confiscated merchandise
back on the streets being utilized by illegal vendors.
~~ Section 1. The City Council of the Ciry of Lynwood authorizes fhe
~ City Manager or his designee to dispose and/or destroy all vendor items confiscated by
the Code Enforcement Division to include the ~following items: ~ ~
Eight (8) Dollies
Thirty-eight (38) Pairs of Pillows
Twenty-seven (27) ice Chests
Six (6) Push Carts ~
Two (2) Hot Dog.Stands
Twenty-eight (28) Inflatable Plastic Figures
Forty-eight (48) Pots
Seventy-five (75) Horns and Serving Tongs
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of November 2003.
