RESOLUTION NO. 5' -a / )_5
Resolution Granting a Conditional
Use Permit to Sandra Vrooman
Whereas, Sandra Vrooman (Applicant) has applied for a conditional
use permit to operate a commercial kitchen at 1475 Blackfoot
Trail in the City of Medina; and
Whereas, the property located at the above address is the Applicant's
home and is zoned for residential use;
Whereas, a conditional use permit is required by the Medina
zoning ordinance for the operation of a business on residential
property; and
Whereas, the City Council is authorized by Sections 825.39 et
seq. of the Medina zoning ordinance to grant a conditional use
permit for the business if it finds that doing so will not adversely
affect the health, safety or welfare of the community.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of
Medina that Sandra Vrooman be granted a conditional use permit to
operate a commercial kitchen at 1475 Blackfoot Trail, subject to
the following terms and conditions:
1. There be no retail sales conducted from the property.
2. There be no signs placed on the property identifying
the business.
3. There be no exterior storage of trash or other materials
related to the business.
4. The operation be approved by and receive any necessary
license or permit from the Hennepin county health
department.
5. There be no limitation in hours of operation of the business
6. The Applicant be granted a variance for use of a holding
tank and that the current septic system be converted to
a mound septic system within 18 months of the date of
this resolution.
7. There shall be no more_than two (2) employees in
addition to the owner.
8. The Applicant continue to comply with all requirements
of Sections 825.39 et seq. of the Medina code of
ordinances.
