A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI~, OF ~'HE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
WESTGROUP DESIGNS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$64,455.00 FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL
DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE VETERANS
MEMORIAL AND OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE ARENA,
, PROJECT NO. OS-5255, FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004; AND
y AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE

WHEREAS, the Veterans Memorial and Outdoor Performance Arena, Project No. OS-
5255 is listed in the FY 2003-2004 budget; and ,
WHEREAS, Westgroup Designs, Inc. possesses qualification and experience to provide
professional design services for said project; and
WHEREAS, a contract price of $64,455.00 was negotiated with Westgroup Designs,
Inc. for said design services. ,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the far professional design services for the design of the
Veterans Memorial and Outdoor Performance Arena, be awarded to Westgroup Des~gn, Inc. for the
negotiated price of $64,455.00
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between the
City of Lynwood and Westgroup Design, Inc.

1 Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
