A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
~` OR HER DESIGNEE TO MAKE CERTAIN FUND
APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM,
GRANT NO. AL0324.
WHEREAS, as part of the California Traffic Safety Program, the Office of Traffic
Safety has awarded to the City of Lynwood $160,000 grant funds to create an effective traffic
safety program; and
WHEREAS, the City of . Lynwood desires to undertake and successfully
implement traffic safety projects designed to lower the deaths, injuries and property damage
which result from traffic accidents; and ~'
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Sheriffls Department will implement the ~~'
program; and
WHEREAS, the grant program is based on a reimbursement basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION l. That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to appropriate
and transfer funds to the Comprehensive Traffic Safety Program as follows:

SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
