CARTERET BOROUGH MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
S.H.A.R.E. RESOLUTION FOR IMPLEMENTATION ASSISTANCE
INTERLOCAL SANITATION SERVICE SHARING
WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey has made SHARE assistance available to assist
local units to study, develop and implement new shared and regional services; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Bodies of Borough ofCarteret and Woodbridge
Township Municipal Government have agreed to apply for SHARE (Sharing
Available Resources Efficiently) assistance through the State of New Jersey SHARE
Program in the amOlmt of$14,580.00 to assist with implementation of a new shared
service; and,
WHEREAS, the Woodbridge Towuship Mnnicipal Government has agreed to be the
leaq agency in this endeavor; and
WHEREAS, the Woodbridge Township Municipal Government is acknowledging and
accepting the responsibility of acting as applicant for this grant on behalf of Borough of
Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this grant is to promote shared sanitation pickup services
between Woodbridge Township Municipal Government and Borough of Carteret, a
sharing that would be beneficial to both local units; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret agrees to execute an Interlocal Services
Agreement with Woodbridge Township Municipal Government in order to implement
the shared services. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by lhe Governing Body of Borough of
Carteret, that Borough of Carteret does hereby join Woodbridge Township in
applying for a grant for the purpose of implementing shared sanitalion pickup
S6fVices.
