~~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
` ~AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF TWEfVTY-THREE THOUSAND
NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX DOLLARS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE 2004 YOUTH BASEBALL AND
SOFTBALL CLINICS
:, WHEREAS, Lynwood Athletics and Community Services (LACS), a local non-
,. profit corporation, has ceguested support from the City of Lynwood to conduct two
~`~' Youth Baseball/Softball Clinics at no cost to Lynwood Youth; and ^
WHEREAS, CACS has previously received support from the City of Lynwood
to conduct Youth Baseball/Softball clinics; and
WHEREAS, This program was not funded as part of the 2003/2005 fiscal.
budget; and
WHEREAS, The estimated costs associated with conducting these clinics is
appr.oximately twenty three thousand nine hundred and fifty six dollars ($23,976.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, #he City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows: ~
Section 1. The City Manager or his/her designee is authorized to carryout
any necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That the fund appropriation in the amount of $23,976.00 be
allocated from the un-appropriated general fund balance in the following fashion:

~ Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
