Door Stop Attachmentt Continuous Door Stop(FG-5122)members were applied to the door header and the portions of both mullions located between the door header and the threshold. The Doo Stop used at eith ul location ched mechanically to the mullion using a single row of#1Bx1"PFH SMS located J"from each frame corner and 18°oncenter thereafter. The Door Stop used at the door header location was attached nasdh to the door header using a single row of#10 x 1-3V8,PFH SMS located G"from each end and 18^on center thereafter, Transom Glazing Pocket Assembly: A continuous fixed glass stop (RG-5118) was applied to the portions of both mullions in this individual frame located above the door header,i.e., at the transom. Each fixed glass stop was attached to the mullion usi single Qxl"PH STS located 2"away from each end of the stop and one at the centerline of the stop. NOTE: The t between each fixed glass stop end and the window wall framing was sealed with a bead of 5M7100 Polyurethane sealant, A continuous removable glass stop(FG-5119) was snapappl1ed to each mullion on the exterior side of the transom. Removable Weather Seal Member Attament: The removable weather seal member was attached at one end to the door header and at the other end to the threshold using one(1) aluminum shear block per end. NOTE; A continuous-filler(PG-5109) was applied to the jamb mullion of the Individual frame used in the right bay prior it's installation into the opening, The glass stop used at either the sill or the intermediate horizontal locations was cut 1/16"In length less than the D.L.0, and hooked into the window wall framing. Frame Joint Sealant: Each frame joint was sealed using strips of Schnee-Morehead SM5229 TackyTape®Industrial Tape Sealant. See Drawing #5000FtMS_01, 5 of 11, Details 1,2 and 3 for the location of the tape sealant. 6.3 Overall Frame Assembly: The first step In the assembly of the overall sample was to place a continuous sill flashing(PG-5117)across the entire width of the opening where the center and right individual frames were located. NOTE.: A continuous perimeter bead of SM7100 Polyurethane sealant was applied on both the exterior and interior side of the sill flashing Including all heads of the fasteners used to attach the sill flashing to the opening. Second, the individual frame for the right bay was stacked on to the sill flashing and secured to the opening. Third,the individual frame located In the center bay was stacked on to the sill flashing and snapped to the individual frame already present in the right bay. NOTE: A continuous bead of SM7100 Polyurethane sealant was applied at the joint between each frame sill and the sill flashing and also at each joint between the sill flashing and the vertical mullions. Finally, the individual frame located in the left bay was stacked Into the opening and snapped to the individual frame already located In the center bay. NOTE: A bead of SM7100 Polyurethane sealant was also applied to the substrate prior to the attachment of this individual frame. This bead sealed the ends of the vertical mullions to the opening and also sealed the under-surface-of the threshold to the substrate.
