A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT FOR
WELL NO. 9 THROUGH AN INFORMAL •BID PROCEDURE

~! WHEREAS, the contract for the Rehabilitation of Well No. 9 Project was awarded
- to General Pump, Inc. ; and
WHEREAS, all needed electrical equipment shall be provided by the City; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall install all the new electrical equipments; and
WHEREAS, purchase of electrical equipment can be done more economicall.y and
expeditiously using an informal bid procedure; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6-3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, Council can
authorize purchases through informal bids by 4/5 votes
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That Staff is authorized to purchase electrical equipment for Well No. 9
Project through an informal bid process.
Section 2. Tliis resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
