A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING FEE SCHEDULE ORDINANCE NUMBER 1291 TO RESCIND
SKATE PARK USER FEES
WHEREAS, a user fee was implemented as of September 15, 2002 base
upon City Council adoption of Resolution No. 2002.01 amending Fee Schedule
Ordinance No. 1291 that established a new fee for Skate Park usage; and
WHEREAS, a per day charge of $1.00 was recommended for Lynwood
residents and $2.00 for non-residents; and
WHEREAS, during the period of time since the impiementation of the new fee
there has been a very significant decrease in the level of usage in the Skate Park;
and
WHEREAS, rescinding the fee would allow patrons to skate in a designated
area in the City in accordance with Ordinance No. 1529 establishing rules and
regulations for Public Skate Park facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND,
ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council amends Resolution No. 2002.01 rescinding
the fee for skate park usage.

Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
