RESOLUTION NO 2004.034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO UTILIZE THE 1NFORMAL BID PROCESS FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 1N CONDUCTING A COMPREHENSIVE
SALARY AND BENEFITS SURVEY
WHEREAS, the last employee classification/position plan and salary survey was
conducted u1 1988, and '
(, WHEREAS, the City has added position descriptions and amended the salary
i_ schedule on an as-needed basis; and ~
WHEREAS, it is the desire.of the City Council to attract and maintain a
competent worlcforce.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows
Sechon 1 That the City Council authorizes staff to solicrt infonnal bids from
firms to prep~re ~ comprehensive salary and benefits survey in an amount not to exceed
$30,000
Sechon 2 The h-ansfer of fiulds fiom the unappropriated general fiind (Ol)
Unapuropriated General Fund TO .
$30,000 . . 1-4121-4220
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective iinmediately upon its adoption.
