,. ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~CITYOF
L~NWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO NEGOTIATE FOR
CERTAIN NECESSARY RIGHT-OF-WAY, AND THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND ACCEPT

THE GRANT DEED FOR THE ACQUISITIONS ALONG SCHOOL
STREET' .

~ WHEREAS, the School St., Magnolia Ave., Bu'rton Ave. and Euclid Ave.
Improvement Project Improvement Project, Project No: 5-5281 is schedule for construction
during FY 2003-2004; and" . ~ ' , :

WHEREAS, additional right-of-way will allow for improved alignment of the
sidewalk, wheelchair ramps, curb and~gutter; and
WHEREAS,, said right-of-way, acquisition is estimated to cost $12,000.00 and
, funds are available in the School St., Magnolia Ave., Burton Avenue and Euclid Ave.
Improvement Project construction budget. '

NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
' Section 1. That the Gity Council authorizes staff to negotiate for.the acquisition
- of said right-of-way. ~ ' _
Section 2, That the City Council authorizes the City Manger to execute the
` agreements and accept the grant deeds for said right-of-way. '~
