AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri finds that certain property in
the custody of the Police Department,Animal Shelter, described below, is surplus property,
and as such represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the
property is no longer needed for any public purpose.
Maytag Washer-Extractor; Model MFR40PNCTS; Serial No. 11000246JT,
40 pound capacity; Tag 17983
Maytag Gas Dryer; Model MDG50PHNNW; Serial No 288638401-E, 50 pound capacity; Tag 17984
Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to offer the item as trade
in for the purchase of new units.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
