4. Present Plaque To Former Commissioner Carmen Cox.
5. Consent Calendar.
(All matters on the consent calendar will be approved in a
single motion unless a Commission member requests separate
action on a specific matter.)
A.1. City of Riverside Time Extension - SB 821 Funding.
Staff recommends approving request to extend the time
for using previously allocated SB 821 funds for the
Santa Ana Bikeway project to June 30, 1988.
2. County of Riverside Time Extension - SB 821 Funding
Staff recommends approving request to extend the time
for using previously allocated SB 821 funds for the
Santa Ana Bikeway Project to March 1, 1988.
B. Allocation of Additional TDA Funds To Riverside Transit
Agency.
Staff recorrends increasing the FY 1987/88 TDA
allocation for the Riverside Transit Agency by $578,250
to replace State Transit Assistance funds previously
allocated.
6. Joint RCTC and SunLine Meeting in February.
Staff recommends a joint meeting with the SunLine Board of
Directors on February 3, 1988 to hear presentations from
social service agencies regarding proposed changes in
transportation services for the elderly and handicapped and
discontinuance of the intervalley service for the
Foundation for the Retarded of the Desert.

7. Issues Related To Interchange Projects on I-215.
Recommendation that Caltrans end local agencies take all
necessary steps so that federal funds are not jeopardized.
8. .Subsidy Reduction For Lines 496 and7149.-
Staff recommends that ETA be requested to obtain proposals
for the operation of segments of Lines 496 and 149 to
determine if the cost/subsidy on these services can be
significantly reduced, end direct staff to work with the
Commissions in San Bernardino, Orange and Lou Angeles
Counties to reach an agreement for funding, transfer use,
and pass use policies for the intercounty services.
9. Local Sales Tax For Transportation.
A. Recommendation To Reset Ballot Measure Date To
November, 1988.
Staff recommends rescheduling the date for this ballot
measure to November. 1988.
B. Proposed Consultant Services To Review Arterial
Projects Costs.
Staff will present a proposal for consideration to
expand the scope of services for Bechtel Civil, Inc. to
review cost estimates for the arterial projects in the
Coachella Valley area.
10. Citizens Advisory Committee Appointments.
The Commission's CAC Screening Committee will recommend
individuals for appointment.
11. AQMD Regulation XV.
Possible action on items under consideration by the AQMD
relating to the iaplementation'bf Regulation XV.
12. Senate Bill 140.
Staff recommends support for SB 140 with amendments.
13. SCAG Related Items.
SCAG representative will report on:
A. SCAG Inland Empire Office Proposal.
B. AB 18 Follow -Up.

C. Caltrans Truck Task Force Study.
D. SCAG Regional General Assembly - fabraary 4. 1988.
14. SAFE - Initiate Consultant Selection Process.
Staff recommends approval of the approach propos-ed for
for hiring a consultant to begin work far. -implementing the
callbox system.
15. California Transportation Commission Meeting_ - J'anuary 21-
22. 1988.
Staff will update the Coaaisaioa an plans for the CTC
meeting in Riverside.
16. Adjournment.
The next 'meeting of the Commission in -scheduled for
February 3, 1968 at 2:00 P.M. in Palm Desert.
