Review Submitted:November 26,2011 Date of Stay:November 2011 We had a group of 12 Girl Scouts staying for a weekend of activities in Savannah and Tybee. This cottage was perfect! So cute, clean, and well furnished. We saved money by cooking meals:easily done with the 3 kitchens and plenty of supplies. This was the BEST Tina W. location!Just 2 houses down from public beach access for cool night ghost crab hunts! Easy access to everything fun!On Tybee you should visit the Lighthouse and Marine Science Center;in Savannah the JGL House,Savannah Theatre and Pirate House for lunch...all awesome attractions and welcoming to Girl Scouts. The cottage owner was super friendly and easy to work with. This is a nice alternative to a hotel room, and extremely economical too!The girls cant quit talking about how much fun we had! Review Submitted:October 7,2009 Date of Stay:September 2009 I rented the HOT Coral House the first week of October 2009-It was the perfect house for what I needed! We had extended family and family friends that were our guests.Because the house can be divided into three apartments-it fit our needs perfectly! No one was karpol cramped or uncomfortable. I loved the artistic flare of the home! I was also surprised at all Annandale Virginia of the things that were available in the house-towels,linens,beachware,shampoo... made it so we just had to show up with food and we were set!Ted was wonderful-as he allowed us to show up earlier then the normal check in time. Regarding the review that mentioned roaches...we saw no roaches in the home-or any other bug for that matter. Rating Did you find this review helpful? Page 2 describes it as a short- term rental. The attached appraisal prepared 09/06/2001 was in the permit file. in the middle of page 1 the GENERAL DESCRIPTION states it was one unit. In December of 2001 and January of 2002 the Planning Commission and City Council approved a variance for the enclosure of the deck and the stair addition (expansion of a nonconforming due to an existing front setback encroachment).Attached are the Minutes.Attached is the variance application dated 11/01/2001. On page 1 Mr.Weeks stated the structure was a single-family. There are no subsequent permits that allowed conversion to a duplex or triplex.A duplex conversion would have required either firewalls or fire separation with sprinklers. The requirements for conversion to a triplex would have been much greater as it then becomes a commercial building(IBC) rather than a one-or two-family dwelling (IRC). Mr. Walker purchased the home from the Weeks in January 2007.Any misrepresentation of the property at that time would be a civil matter between the two parties. However, the City has become aware of this nonconforming triplex in a C-2 zone and of the public safety issue of an "apartment building" without a compliant means of fire protection. We are culpable. My position is this structure must immediately be used as a single-family dwelling. The owner may apply for a building permit to convert it to a code-compliant duplex. A triplex is not allowed in a C-2 zoning district. Please let me know how you prefer this to be communicated to Mr. Walker. Dianne K. Review Submitted:November 26,2011 Date of Stay: November 2011 } We had a group of 12 Girl Scouts staying for a weekend of activities in Savannah and Tybee. This cottage was perfect! So cute, clean, and well furnished. We saved money by cooking meals:easily done with the 3 kitchens and plenty of supplies. This was the BEST Tina W. location!Just 2 houses down from public beach access for cool night ghost crab hunts! Easy access to everything fun!On Tybee you should visit the Lighthouse and Marine Science Center; in Savannah the JGL House,Savannah Theatre and Pirate House for lunch... all awesome attractions and welcoming to Girl Scouts. The cottage owner was super friendly and easy to work with. This is a nice alternative to a hotel room, and extremely economical too!The girls cant quit talking about how much fun we had! http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p174873 9/13/2012 Tybee Island vacation house rental: HOT C 11 House --- Girl Scout, Spring Break, net Friendly --- WIFI Page 8 of 9 Kating um you rina ruts review netprurr Yes tvo 5 out of 5 Helpful votes: 1/2 50th Family Christmas -2011 Review Submitted: March 26,2012 Date of Stay: December 2011 My family rented all of Coral House as a 50th Anniversary gift to my parents. The house is the cutest thing ever. There was certainly room for all of us in the 3 units and cooking was a snap with 3 kitchens. It was great to have separation when needed.Coral House is just a Kerri P. short walk to the beach, which was fabulous!!Ted was great to work with and the house was totally ready when we arrived. We got in later than we expected and there were dimmed lights on in all 3 units with music playing from the tv's. I have never felt that welcomed in a hotel and it was certainly appreciated. My favorite place was the private back garden, with 15 people coming in and out, this was my retreat!Thank you Ted for opening your home to us for this special event!! It was an overwhelming experience for my family and Tybee Island people Heather D. and nearby attractions were amazing.Ted you have a wonderful place we will definately visit again and rent from you again.Your housekeeper is AMAZING as well. The beach is so close and everything was fantastic. Rental About 11116114' Review Submitted:October 7,2009 Date of Stay:September 2009 I rented the HOT Coral House the first week of October 2009-It was the perfect house for what I needed! We had extended family and family friends that were our guests.Because the house can be divided into three apartments-it fit our needs perfectly! No one was karpol cramped or uncomfortable. I loved the artistic flare of the home!I was also surprised at all Annandale Virginia of the things that were available in the house-towels, linens,beachware,shampoo... made it so we just had to show up with food and we were set!Ted was wonderful-as he allowed us to show up earlier then the normal check in time. Regarding the review that mentioned roaches...we saw no roaches in the home-or any other bug for that matter. Rating Did you find this review helpful?
