1. Call to Order.
2. Approval Of Minutes.
3. Public Comments.
4. Consent. Calendar.
(All matters on the consent calendar will be approved in a
single motion unless a Commission member requests a separate
action on a specific item.)
A. Additional TDA Funds for the Riverside Transit Agency.
Allocation of $145, 138 in TDA funds to cover a
reduction in federal operating assistance under the
UMTA Section 9 Program is recommended.
B. Commission Bylaws Amendment.
Adoption of Ordinance No. 88-01 amending the Bylaws
section regarding the make-up of the Commission's
Citizens Advisory Committee is recommended.
C. UMTA Section 16(b)2 Grants Approved.
D. SCAOMD Regulation XV.
E. Quarterly Financial Report.
5. Public Hearing On Unmet Transit Needs.
A public hearing will be held to obtain testimony on transit
needs that are not being met by existing transit services or
improvements programmed in the current Short Range Transit
Plan for Riverside County.
6. SunLine Transit Agent' E & H Study Report.
Commission and SunLine Board members will meet jointly to
receive input from staff, social service agencies, and
others who wish to speak regarding the E & H Transportation
Study prepared by the SunLine 'Transit Agency and the report
recommendations scheduled for reconsideration by the SunLine
Board in March.
7. Bechtel Civil Inc. "Proposal to Provide Scope and Cost
Review of the Coachella Valley Area Section of the Riverside
County Transportation Expenditure Plan,".
Staff is proposing Commission approval of Bechtel's proposal
and approve a budget amendment for an additional $30,000 for
consultant services. Also, amendment to the existing
contract with D.J. Smith Associates Inc. is needed; r.o
increase in compensation for Smith is required.
8. Proposed Orange/Riverside County Transportation Comrissions'
Commuter Rail Feasibility Study.
RCTC has been requested by OCTC to participate in a
Riverside to Orange County Commuter Rail Feasibility Study.
Staff is requesting that the Commission approve the proposed
OCTC/RCTC Commuter Rail Feasibility Study and budget $15,000
for financial participation.
