In order to maintain this proud tradition of compliance to our country's legal requirement, we must create and promote a high degree of public awareness with the general population as well as with the young men. It is with this goal in mind that we in Selective Service request and urge your assistance for this important endeavor. By promoting a Resolution again declaring April as Registration Awareness Month in our State, the goal of obtaining 100 percent compliance can be achieved. I have enclosed an example of what has been used on other occasions in this important project for your consideration. If you have any questions or need more information, please call State Director Robert P. Knight at -- 439-9065. Respectfully, Carl W. Lidberg Selective Service Manager We would appreciate a copy of your approved resolution.
