Requirements
Staff recommends the Commission accept legal opinion,
encourage SunLine to expand services and to approve funds
for used buses that meet the accessibility requirements.
5. SCRTD Line 496 and 149 Contracting - Status Report and
Issues
6. Route 91 Project Development Items
a. Memorandum of Understanding
Staff recommends that the Commission approve the proposed
MOU.
b. Selection of Consultant
Staff recommends the Commission agree with selection of
the Keith Companies as consultant for environmental
studies.
7. Revision to RTIP Commitments for Measure A Funding
Staff recommends that the Commission support Caltrans
PSTIP and approve proposed Measure A funding Attachments I
and II for presentation to CTC.
8. SCAG Related Items
a. AB 1696 and SB 2625
Staff recommends that the Commission communicate the need
to move AB 1696 to Assemblyman Katz.
b. Review of 1988 Air Quality Management Plan
Staff recommends that the Commission discuss the Air
Quality Plan and provide guidance for August 15th
comments.
9. Various Transportation Legislative Proposals
Staff recommends that the Commission authorize D.J. Smith
to advocate statewide legislation consistent with RCTC's
desire for increased statewide funding.
10. Status of SAFE Project
Staff recommends that the Commission Authorize
negotiations with TechPlan and the County of Riverside as
proposed.
