A. State Transportation Assistance Fund Claim - City of
Banning.
Staff recommends Commission adoption of Resolution No.
89-1-BAN allocating $12,000 to the City of Banning for
the purchase of a used lift -equipped van for backup for
their Elderly & Handicapped DAR Program.
B. FA U Program Amendment Request - County of Riverside.
Staff recommends approval of a request from the County
of Riverside to amend its FAU Program to move up
construction of the Jan Buren Boulevard project between
Sutties and Wood Streets.
C. Letter From Commuter Computer Summarizing Agreement
with RTA .
For information only. Receive and file.
5. Report on Draft Caltrans Traffic Operations System Project
Study.
Caltrans staff will review comprehensive proposals for ramp
metering, message signs, and other means of controlling
traffic on highways within Riverside County. Elements may
be included in Measure A supported 'highway projects. Staff
recommends Commission endorsement of the Study.
6. CTC Staff Recommended STIP In Relation to Measure A Program.
RCTC staff will report on CTC staff recommended STIP and its
consistency with RCTC proposals. Final CTC action is
scheduled for October 6th.
7. Authorization to Seek Consultnat for Riverside/Perris/Bemet-
San Jacinto Rail Transit Feasibility Analysis.
RCTC staff requests Commission authorization to retain a
consultant for this Measure A identified project.
8. SCAG Related Items.
A. Report on September 23 SCAG Meeting Related to
Organizational Alternatives for Regional Planning
RCTC staff will report on progress made during the
meeting related to general agreement regarding more
local participation in regional planning.
