RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGR,EEMENT WITH COMMUNITY GRANTS,
PLANNING & HOUSING, TO PE,RFORl\I CERTAIN DUTIES IN CONNECTION
WITH THE BOROUGH'S SCATTERED SITE HOUSING
REHABILITATION PROGRAM
\WEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") has received certain money
pursuant to Regional Contribution Agreements ("ReA's") with various communities; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has underiaken an extensive Scattered Site Rehabilitation
Program to utilize said ReA Funds; and
\VHEREAS, the Borough has determined that it is in" the Borough's best interest to
utilize the services of Community Grants, Planning & Housing ("CGP&H") to assist the
Borough in accomplishing the rehabilitation program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council ofthe Borough
of Carteret does hereby approve the appointment of Community Grants, Planning &
Housing, at a maximum cost, not to exceed $114,000.00, billable per attached contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this award is made without competitive bidding in
that the services to be performed are in the nature of extraordinary unspecified services
and therefore exempt pursuant to NJ.S.A. 11-5, ~~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough Law Director are hereby
authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of the Borough.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this award shall be advertised as prescribed by
law.

Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 08-49.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR CERTAIN DUTIES IN
CONNECTION WITH THE BOROUGH'S SCATIERED SITE HOUSING
REHABILITION PROGRAM.
NOT TO EXCEED $114,000.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set fOllh in
Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parlies hereto have hereunder set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
