A RESOLUTION, identifying and designating a Civil Service Commissioner to
serve on the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, per Section
8.020 of the Charter Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of the Charter Plan established the Civil Service
Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District;
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that said Civil Service
Commission shall consist of three members, who shall be appointed by the Board; and
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that members shall be persons
who are known to be in sympathy with the application of merit principles to public employment;
WHEREAS, Section 8.030 provides the duties of the Civil Service Commission;
and
WHEREAS, on September 29, 2020, Michael Harvey was appointed by the Board
of Trustees to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a three (3) year term expiring on
September 29, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, THAT the Board hereby appoints
Michael Harvey to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a three (3) year term from September
29, 2020 to September 29, 2023.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on September 29, 2020 by the following vote:
Ayes – M. Yates, R. Wilson, J. Singer, M. Evans, and A. Fehr
Nays – None
