HomeMy Public PortalAbout15708 Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public II Reduction (2023) Contract E (12587)PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 15708 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($87,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of public I/I removal in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2023) Contract E (12587) in the Cities of Ballwin, Fenton, Valley Park, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11011 with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. for design of public I/I removal. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($87,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of public I/I removal in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2023) Contract E (12587) in the Cities of Ballwin, Fenton, Valley Park, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11011 with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. for design of public I/I removal in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2023) Contract E (12587) in the Cities of Ballwin, Fenton, Valley Park, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 12, 2021.
