AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($450,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of sanitary sewers, storm
sewers, and private I/I removal in CSO – Shrewsbury Ave CSO Interceptor (I-293)/Outfall (L-
166) Sewer Separation (12141) in the Cities of Shrewsbury and Webster Groves, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for design of
sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of sanitary sewers,
storm sewers, and private I/I removal in CSO – Shrewsbury Ave CSO Interceptor (I-293)/Outfall
(L-166) Sewer Separation (12141) in the Cities of Shrewsbury and Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202
with HDR Engineering, Inc. for design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal
in CSO – Shrewsbury Ave CSO Interceptor (I-293)/Outfall (L-166) Sewer Separation (12141) in
the Cities of Shrewsbury and Webster Groves, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of
such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The proposed Ordinance was adopted on August 12, 2021.
