AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Four Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of
sanitary sewers, storm sewers, combined sewers, a stormwater detention basin, sewer separation,
public and private I/I removal in Harlem – Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert) Design (10641) in the
Village of Hillsdale and the Cities of St. Louis and Wellston, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into Amendment No. 17 to Contract No. 10897 with Parsons Water & Infrastructure Inc.
for design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, combined sewers, a stormwater detention basin, sewer
separation, public and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13043, adopted February 11, 2010, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10897; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of sanitary sewers,
storm sewers, combined sewers, a stormwater detention basin, sewer separation, public and private
I/I removal in Harlem – Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert) Design (10641) in the Village of Hillsdale
and the Cities of St. Louis and Wellston, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
17 to Contract No. 10897 with Parsons Water & Infrastructure Inc. for design of sanitary sewers,
storm sewers, combined sewers, a stormwater detention basin, sewer separation, public and private
I/I removal in Harlem – Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert) Design (10641) in the Village of Hillsdale
and the Cities of St. Louis and Wellston, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 12, 2021.
