HomeMy Public PortalAbout15703 St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Program – Corps of Engineers – Phase II (13608)ORDINANCE NO. 15703 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from the General Fund for local match for Corps of Engineers study effort to make additional CIRP projects eligible for federal funding in St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Program – Corps of Engineers – Phase II (13608) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 22049 with the United States Army Corps of Engineers to provide financial assistance for a study effort to make additional CIRP projects eligible for federal funding. WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for local match for Corps of Engineers study effort to make additional CIRP projects eligible for federal funding in St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Program – Corps of Engineers – Phase II (13608) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 22049 with the United States Army Corps of Engineers for local match for Corps of Engineers study effort to make additional CIRP projects eligible for federal funding in St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Program – Corps of Engineers  Phase II (13608) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 12, 2021.
