RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY
REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE HAMEL AREA DRAINAGE
DISTRICT, CONSTRUCTION OF THE STREET ON
KILKENNY LANE AND THE WIDENING OF HAMEL ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council
adopted on May 20, 1986, a feasibility report has been prepared
by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with reference
to the proposed construction of storm sewer improvements in the
Hamel Area Drainage District, construction of the street on
Kilkenny Lane and the widening of Hamel Road south of Pinto
Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Council will consider the proposed storm sewer and
street improvements in accordance with the feasibility
report and the assessment of abutting and non -abutting
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improve-
ments pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an
estimated total cost of the improvements of $118,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the improvements on the
5th day of August, 1986 in the council chambers at city hall
at g:D n p.m. and the City Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required
by law.
