A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE LAVINIA AVENUE, HARRIS AVENUE AND OLANDA STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, PROJECT NO's. 4011.67.955, 4011.67.956~AND .40.11.67.965,AS BEING
COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO~~ PROCESS THE
RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on October 6, 2009, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the Lavinia Avenue, Harris Avenue and Olanda Street Improvement Project
contract to Sialic Contractors Corporation dba SHAWNAN, in the amount of $380,470;
and ~
WHEREAS, the, project started; on January 4, 2010 and was completed on
February 8, 2010; and ~
WHEREAS, the project is funded by Prop C funds, and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $331,429.04; and
,
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on February 9,
2010 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project _plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Lavinia
Avenue, Harris Avenue and Olanda Street Improvement Project, Project No's.
4011.67.955, 4011.67.956 and 4011.67.965 as complete in accordance with contract
documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to .process the recordation of the Notice of
Completion.
Section 2. _ This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16t" day of March, 2010.
