A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY 'MANAGER TO TRANSFER $750 IN CITY COUNCIL
DISCRETIONARY FUNDS TO THE RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
EVENTS ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS FOR THE
COMMUNITY PUBLIC SAFETY MEETING ON MARCH 20, 2010
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood continues to provide the city with new
technology and personnel to provide enhanced public safety to improve the quality of
life in the community; and
WHEREAS, on March 20, 2010 the City will be hosting a community public
safety meeting with residents to discuss public safety issues; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate public purpose would be established by this funding.
WHEREAS, funds are available in the City Council's discretionary account to
cover this request in the amount of $750.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the above recitals are true and correct.
Section 2. The City Council approves the financial subsidy in the amount of
$750 for the Community Public Safety Meeting. r ~ ,, f'~

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of March, 2010.
