Home My Public Portal About09-7893 Renovation of City Office Space for the City Clerk and City Commission Sponsored by: City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 0 9-7 8 9 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE RENOVATION OF CITY OFFICE SPACE FOR THE CITY CLERK AND CITY COMMISSION AT A ONE-TIME COST OF EIGHT THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS($8,795.00),PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT NO. 19-519461 WHEREAS,the City of Opa-locka("City")has leased office space for City departments on the 4th floor of the Town Center One building; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that the offices of the City Clerk and City Commission should be renovated to provide for additional security by installing a new wall,window, countertop, door, electronic door strikes and a key remote; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the renovation of the office space for the City Clerk and City Commission at a one-time cost of Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($8,795.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the renovation of city office space for the City Clerk and City Commission, at a one-time cost of Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($8,795.00),payable from Account No. 19-519461.
