Country Club Sanitary Relief (Deer Creek to Westwood Ct) (12132) project. Westwood Country Club Sanitary Relief (Deer
Creek to Westwood Ct) (12132) is a lump sum cost project for the design of approximately 4,580 lineal feet of 12 -inch to
18-inch diameter sanitary sewers and appurtenances. The purpose of this project is to alleviate wet weather building
backups and overcharged sanitary sewers. The construction cost estimate for this project is $2,834,000. Construction is
anticipated to begin in FY2024.

Additional Comments: There were two (2) other proposals considered on this project. The appropriation for design
services is $22,000 above the proposed funding for this project presented in the CIP Budget Supplement. The appropriation
includes $399,882 in design services; $30,118 in contingencies; $5,000 for geotechnical access/restoration in golf course;
$20,000 for flood study and no rise certification; $5,000 for special golf course creek bank restoration; $5,000 for potholin g
utilities; $10,000 for additional rock cores in the golf course; and $60,000 for construction phase services. These services
include construction field surveys, review of shop drawings and submittals, responding to design questions and changes
during construction, as-built surveys, and preparation of as-built record drawings. This project is expected to be funded by
Bond proceeds.

This ordinance authorizes the District to enter into Contract #22091 with TREKK Design Group, LLC for Stormwater Asset
Investigations (2022) (13595). The purpose of this contract is to provide District staff with detailed information regarding
stormwater systems by performing services such as project inspection reconnaiss ance, field investigations of storm system
and structures, inspection prioritization, field verification, map updates, asset ownership, work order management, and post
inspection review. These services will form the basis for District led preventive maint enance and rehabilitation activities.
These investigations also provide assistance for the Operations Department with their sewer cleaning and manhole
inspection activities. In addition to the field inspections, CCTV review and system mapping updates are also provided. This
contract for Stormwater Asset Assessment is for $800,000. This contract is renewable for up to two (2) additional years
based on performance.

Additional Comments: This project for Stormwater Asset Investigations was identified in the District’s Capital
Improvement and Replacement Program to provide support for Operations, design, and planning activities. The
appropriation for vendor services is equal to the total proposed funding presented in the CIP Budget Supplement.
The District, through the Purchasing division, solicited price and qualification proposals for this project. Six qualification
proposals were received. All proposals were evaluated based on five weighted criteria. TREKK Design Group, LLC had
the highest overall score as the best firm for the services requested in the RFP. TREKK Design Group, LLC was selected
for this contract.
