Absent: Councilmember, Heideman I certify that the above resolution was adopted by the Council of The City of Medina on August 13, 1986 • Clerk -Treasurer -5c elf Member moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA ft_to RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS REGARDING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE HAMEL AREA DRAINAGE DISTRICT, CONSTRUCTION OF KILKENNY LANE AND THE WIDENING OF HAMEL ROAD WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. pursuant to Council resolution adopted the 5th day of August, 1986 regarding storm sewer improvements in the Hamel Area Drainage District, construction of Kilkenny Lane and the widening of Hamel Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 A.M. on the 16th day of September, 1986, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall by the City Clerk and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be consid- ered by the City Council at 8:co .M. on the 16 day of 0 t-y,.,heW , 1986 in the Council Chambers, and that no bidg will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check or bid bond.
