HomeMy Public PortalAbout1986-062#e 4 e- r Member moved its adopted: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 0 , RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO DOROTHY AND LEROY MARTIN FOR WESTBOUND LIQUOR STORE WHEREAS, Dorothy and LeRoy Martin (Applicants) have pur- chased Westbound Liquor Store, 712 Highway 55; and WHEREAS, Westbound Liquor Store was previously operated by other owners without a conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Medina city code requires that a conditional use permit now be obtained by the Applicants; and WHEREAS, the Applicants appeared before the Planning Commis- sion on June 10 and July 8, 1986 in regard to this matter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that the Applicants' operation of Westbound Liquor Store is consistent with the ordinances of the City and will not impede the development of adjacent property and that a conditional use permit for the same is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions: 1. The well located on the property shall be closed and aban- doned in accordance with state law within 30 days of the date of approval of the conditional use permit by the City Council; 2. Within one year of the date of approval of the conditional use permit the Applicants shall install landscaping and shall screen the trash container and propane tank in accor- dance with plans acceptable to the zoning administrator; 3. The Applicants shall complete the parking improvements, install the additional blacktop drive and bring the signs on and near the site into compliance with applicable perfor- mance standards of the zoning ordinance no later than September 30, 1988; and 4. The Applicants shall comply with state law regarding hours of operation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that a violation of any of the above conditions shall be deemed to be a violation of the Medina City Code. DATED: CLul/16 z 19 , 1986.
