A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, REQUIRING THAT
THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY AND CITY
CLERK MEET PRIOR TO EACH REGULARLY
SCHEDULED CITY COMMISSION MEETING
WHEREAS, the Charter and Code of Ordinances for the City of Opa-locka ("City")
recognizes three (3) appointed officials who each report directly to the City Commission of the
City of Opa-locka("City Commission"), specifically, the positions of City Manager, City
Attorney and City Clerk; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission deems it important that the three (3) appointed
officials should work together collaboratively, communicate regularly and generally cooperate
with one another in the performance of their respective duties; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission deems it especially important that the City Manager,
City Attorney and City Clerk meet prior to each regularly scheduled commission meeting in
order to review and discuss agenda items.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby demands that the
City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk meet prior to each regularly scheduled city
commission meeting in order to review and discuss agenda items.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
