RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR SCHLOSSER ADDITION WHEREAS, Leonard L. Schlosser, and Bernice A Schlosser (Applicants) have requested approval of a subdivision pursuant to the final plat attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously granted preliminary approval to the Applicants for a subdivision of this property; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Applicants' final plat for compliance with the ordinances of the City and with conditions of preliminary plat approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that final approval is granted to the Applicants for a subdivision to be known as Schlosser Addition, subject to the following conditions: 1. Lot 2 shall contain a minimum of two acres, with a variance granted from the minimum lot requirement of five acres due to the location of the house and accessory building on the property and the absence of additional acceptable soils nearby and with variances to reduce setbacks for the house and garage to 66 feet and 4.7 feet, respectively, due to the fact they are existing structures; 2. The final plat shall indicate dedication to the city of a 40 foot wide easement for roadway purposes adjacent to County Road 19; 3. Outlot A shall be combined with the property to the north and west; 4. The final plat shall indicate dedication to the city of a 50 foot wide easement for roadway purposes adjacent to Highway 55; 5. The Applicants shall obtain approval of the subdivision from the Pioneer Creek Watershed District; 6. The service road adjacent to Highway 55 shall be constructed prior to building on Lot 1; " r . 7. The Applicants shall obtain and file a Discharge of Lis Pendens pertaining to that Notice of Lis Pendens dated July 24, 1978 and filed July 26, 1978 as Document No. 4397585 or Lorraine Leuer and Renee Dehmer shall join in signing the plat; 8. The Applicants shall pay to the City the sum of $ to cover the planning, engineering, legal and administrative expenses incurred by the City in reviewing this subdivision, and that the Applicants pay any additional costs incurred hereafter by the City for those purposes; and 9. This approval shall be null and void unless the Applicants file the final plat of Schlosser Addition with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of the Mayor's signature of the plat or receive an extension of such time from the City Council prior to the expiration of the 60 days.
